I ordered 3 pieces of butter, one with eggs/reel the prawns was most small pieces. A chicken salad was ok. The third piece was with frikadelle, consisted of three small very cold mini free cadellers, which for confusion reminded much about the mini free cadellers you can buy in all supermarkets
Surprisingly good lunch at high level. Great view. Worth driving extra for
We went to a late lunch before visiting the museum (which is also recommended) and were greeted by the chef who explains the menu. we shared a delicious plate from the local sausages and cheese with gurken and chutneys. these were made accompanied by a selection of excellent brot on the ground. I also had a local beer that was very good. the chef wrote a cookbook that was sold only in Danish. what impressed us was the care that was about the purchase of food from local craftsmen manufacturers as well as the good brot and beautiful presentation of the meal. this place is good enough to only visit for eating alone; it is more than just a functional museum caffe. the environment is bright and bright, and overall it has well furnished us for a long museum visit.
We really had a great time at Cafe Lindholm. The personnel was very kind and welcoming. And the food... was superb. A delicate mix of danish traditions and modern cuisine. We had those freshly made sandwiches and the Viking plank. I recommend those but the rest looked amazing as well. Thank you all, you enlightened our day!
