Tengu Asian Bistro - <a href

I got the spicy crab roll, shrimp tempura, and gyoza. Everything was incredibly bland and tasteless except the gyoza which were too salty. I actually questioned if I had covid because of the complete lack of flavor. I have no idea how this restaurant has such a high rating, it’s incredibly misleading especially because the presentation looks appealing. I have had better sushi from my school cafeteria than this. The pricing for the taste and portion is definitely not worth it. Do not recommend.

Beautiful dining area, delicious tempura in a bento box, and tasty sashimi. The food are a bit bland and dry, but the price is reasonable.

I was really craving sushi and I looked at reviews around where my work was in Albany and I found Tengu. I walked in around 2pm so definitely not peak hours. The server was very friendly and she seated me. I ordered crab Rangoon, sushi sampler appetizer, and unagi don. The crab rangoons were decent. I was served the sashimi sampler rather than the sushi. Food was great! Service wasn’t the best…. Had to wait 5—10 for everything (including napkins, straws, refills). Overall the food is definitely worth it.
