Stonecat: Regional Cuisine - <a href

If you want to come here for dinner, a reservation is preferred because otherwise you’ll end up waiting in a long line. Great food, great atmosphere especially in the outdoor terrace.

We had a fantastic dinner here on a Sunday night. The food is simple but wonderfully prepared. We got the bread with olive oil to start, and the cornmeal-crusted catfish and chicken under a brick for our entrees. Everything was delicious and perfectly portioned. Everything was top shelf Stonecat! Our server Carly showed us that the art of fine dining service is still exists! She helped to guide us in making vegetarian selections that were creative and delicious! The acoustic music by Kevin Kinsella is what drew us to Stonecat that Wednesday evening, but we will return for the food and service!

Sandwiches were mediocre, especially for the price. Breaded chicken sandwich with fried green tomatoes was missing the chicken for one in our party. Sandwiches were bland in flavor.

This place has a nice vibe. The food is still very good, but was better in the past. It gets very busy and the staff can seem stressed, but they’re trying to stay friendly. It’s also a bit pricey, but that’s what you get on the lake.
