I quote 2 reasons for the lack of good customer service and bland food. When I asked for hot sosse to give him some taste, I got a few buttons of cumin. it was neither hot nor a sauce. it was not a good representation of the Arabic cuisine and not the hospitality I know from my local Arab community. my suggestion is friendly and tasteful and wins all the time. if you both look, go somewhere else.
Stay in bocagrande and were looking for restaurants for me that is vegan. I thought Arab eating would be perfect as they have in the regular falafel and lentil dishes. I ordered the falafel plate that came with falafel, lentil reis, pita and hummus. the aromen. simply ok. not disgusting, but not good enough to guarantee to go back or give a recommendation. my man ordered the bark dish, which was quite a lot of ground bark meat in various forms and cooked for. the food was dirty and without taste and flavor. the service was slow and strange. the owner sat at the bank and watched tw and did not greet us. we were the only ones in the restaurant that should have been our first sign to go away. server ignored us and we had to stop his services. when they are in bocagrande, go to the walled city for better good decisions and service.
We ordered the vegetarian plaque. when we got them, I couldn't believe my eyes. there were only two tiny Falafel balls on the plate and they were served in micro-portions. the hummus was in an extremely small container and...only 1 small teespoons have been set equal. that were not the seven dollars we paid for. Go somewhere else and save your money, expecting them to pay for the money they pay!
I made a great choice. good food, nice people, more acceptable price! taste the Arabic mixto. they will enjoy every bit.
The menu del dia Lunch Special was either chicken or meat with soup and juice for $10,000 pesos. For the vegetarian platter I paid $22,000 plus the lemonade and mandatory tip was $33,000 $12.00 US which was the most expensive lunch I ever had...in Columbia. I dont mind paying more BUT the platter was a joke, portions were very small, tiny.
