Wine Connection Deli And Bistro

Had lunch in Wine Collection prior to Covid-19 when we visited Phuket almost 4 years ago, we were amazed by the food there, especially the presto pasta. We had dinner here again this time. The food quality is still divine! The steak is outstanding. The only disappointment is that the presto pasta was no longer served in the new menu :’ hope they will bring it back!

The level of service was terrible. We 've waited for 40 minutes for pasta and omelet. After 30 minutes I asked our waiter of expected waited time. She said just a moment , went away and never came back. So I asked another one. The same situation repeated. Eventually I asked 6 persons. With 6th person I went directly to kitchen and only there I was told that our dishes will be ready in several minutes. So basically the kitchen forgot about our orders and noone cared. After that we had to pay 10% service fee :D Which is totally ridiculous.

Really good food. I’ve never dined in even though I’ve walked past a thousand times but I order from grab food once per week or so. The Australian cheese burger is really good. The spaghetti bolognese is good but it’s called something else as they use think pasta and the sausages with chips is so good with the aioli sauce.

Meets all expectations for a Wine Connection. We are always pleasantly surprised at the successes with their menu upgrades and consistent quality. Wine is appropriately priced. Pro Tip: Stick to the Italian food
