Shòu Sī Gē Pēng あおき

I stumbled upon this restaurant while many others were closed due to an approaching typhoon. I tried the Tsuwano specialty, Uzumemeshi set meal. Uzumemeshi was like a tea-soaked rice with various toppings, but it was delicious. The highlight was the sashimi konjac, which was truly amazing. Also, the vinegared dish and wasabi soy sauce pickles were tasty. Perhaps they should promote these Tsuwano specialties more? I left satisfied.

I always visit this place when the chef is working alone. The unagi donburi is amazingly delicious and very affordable, despite being a whole eel. It is necessary to make a reservation by phone in advance. The fried chicken is also highly recommended.

Tsuwano is a restaurant where you can enjoy seafood. Located right in the middle of a tourist spot, it seems to be popular among locals as well. I tried the "umeboshi" and "ayu oshizushi". Umeboshi is an interesting dish, I didn't know about it even though I'm from Shimane. The combination of ingredients, dashi, and wasabi is really good. The ayu oshizushi was wrapped in kelp, and I could enjoy the aroma of the kelp. However, I felt like the scent of the ayu was a bit overpowered. The fish was soft all the way to the head, and I was able to eat everything except the fins.

某センターの方におススメとして紹介されたので行ってみました。 お目当ては津和野の名物（らしい）「うずめ飯」 ´∇｀ 津和野の地名の由来になってる山菜の「ツワ」が入った炊き込みご飯みたいなもんかなと思っていたのですが、 実物は山菜とか豆腐の入った具沢山の汁飯って感じでした。 具がご飯の下に埋まっているから「埋め飯」なのかな？ ﾟωﾟ 食感とか食べた感じはもう完全にお茶漬けなんですが（笑） 新鮮なワサビがピリリと効いたお出汁でサラサラと掻っ込むご飯はやっぱり美味しい ´꒳` 一緒に出てきた刺身こんにゃくもスーパーに売ってるこんにゃくではあり得ないコリコリの食感でからし味噌に良く合ってました。 その他、筍や山菜の煮付けに茶碗蒸し。 どれも素朴でやさしい味付けがうずめ飯と良く合ってて大満足でした。 ちなみに湯呑みの柄では良く見かけますが、 畳の縁まで寿司ネタのお店は初めて見ました

今日のお昼はあおき寿司。 11時から電車の時間12時までなく昼ごはん。高津川の天然鮎を使った鮎姿寿司はとっても美味しかったです。島根の津和野の酒蔵の華泉の冷酒と一緒におまかせ握りをいただきました。 6名の団体のお客様が突然来ましたが店主一人で切り盛りしているのでお断りが入ってました。 人数が多い場合は予約をお勧めします。とっても田舎の雰囲気の良いお店だと思います。 ごちそうさまでした。 おなかいっぱいだったの残念ながら芋煮は食べる事ができませんでした。 ごちそうさまでした。
