Contribuiți la feedbackI was finally able to visit Ekisha-tei, a restaurant I had been wanting to visit for a while. It is only open on weekends, so it was difficult to find a time that worked with my schedule. The building is an old Ojima station building that has been relocated and preserved in the Green Village, giving it a charming Taisho Romance vibe. You order at the counter and pay in advance. The staff will bring your order to you, but you will need to return the dishes to the designated return area yourself. This time, I had the zaru soba and pizza. The soba was thin and had a satisfying crunch, which I enjoyed. The pizza had a crispy crust made from rice flour and was also very delicious. I will definitely visit again when my work schedule allows. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
This area is known for its delicious soba restaurants. This one is also quite delicious. The celebratory soba is famous here. It seems like in the past, they crushed chicken as a gesture for weddings and celebrations. The dish contains a lot of simmered bonito and burdock with tough chicken breast. The price is a bit high, but the portion is quite large and you can feel the tradition of the region, which is the charm of traveling and eating local foods. The pizza is made with mochi flour and baked after ordering. The tomato sauce is made with real tomatoes and is delicious! This is a must-order dish.
A train from the Naojiri Light Railways is on display. It is said to be the model for the "Kogen Train Goes" train. You can see the rare narrow gauge train up close. The station building is also very retro and has a charming atmosphere.
