Guǒ Fáng Shān Qīng　nán Sān Lù Běn Diàn

Whenever I visit Minami Sanriku, I always make sure to stop by this restaurant. The octopus pudding in particular is exquisite - you can enjoy it freshly baked on the spot or purchase frozen ones as souvenirs. They also have many other delicious sweets for sale, so be sure to drop by when you visit.

Located in the Sansan shopping street, Yamasan is a bakery that caught my eye with a large photo of a Takopurin (octopus pudding) on the entrance wall. Inside, there were cakes and baked goods on display. I bought a strawberry butter sandwich and, lastly, a hot Takopurin to try. The Takopurin was delicious, tasting like a quiche. Although I didn't find the dessert to be very satisfying, I regret not buying some frozen treats to take home.
