Sōng Fēng ān - 平泉町

On May 9, 2019, I tried the ¥1,000 set meal at Aimori. Both the soba and udon had a firm texture and were delicious. Having lunch quietly at a world heritage site was amazing. However, if you want to eat here, you need to pay the admission fee for Kogetsu Temple.

Just past the main gate of Maeguessi Temple, you'll find the resting place Matsufuuan. It's a convenient stop for a break, making it perfect for a quick rest. For lunch, I had the "cold nama-namako soba" and the "morisoba." The flavor of the soba was delightful and satisfying, making me feel like I got a good deal. The desserts looked delicious too, so I wish I had room in my stomach to try them as well.

The soba pudding here is exquisite!! The soba used is a blend of Hokkaido and Iwate.

暑い日に訪問 参拝後、暑さでやられたため、かき氷や冷し甘酒の文字につられて寄りました そばやうどん その他プリンやぜんざいなど、気になるものがいっぱいでしたが、このあとしばらく歩く予定で、諦めて軽く冷し甘酒に 甘すぎず、飲みやすい甘酒で疲れた体に染みわたりました お茶は延命茶でした これまた飲みやすいお茶でした

毛越寺参拝と合わせて、境内にあるお蕎麦屋さんにて昼食を頂きました。蕎麦の香りが鼻から抜け、コシもほどよくとても美味しいお蕎麦でした。今回はお蕎麦だけでしたが、甘味もあるので、参拝と庭園散策の後の休憩にもいいですね。 店内にほどよく流れるBGMと、店内から見える風景と自然音が、とても心地よく、癒されるひとときでした。
