Jì Quán - 波佐見町

The restaurant had counter seats and private tatami rooms. I chose the duck namban soba, which was delicious with a generous amount and a mild broth.

I had the Tempura Soba for 1500 yen with extra noodles for 100 yen. The shrimp was firm and delicious! I love shrimp, so I often eat tempura, but at this price range, there is about an 80% chance that the shrimp will be thin and not firm. But the shrimp here was delicious! All of the other tempura was also tasty. The soba noodles were okay, maybe just average level (I am from Nagano, so my standards might be a bit high). The extra noodles for 100 yen was worth it!

On June 12th, I enjoyed the Tempura Soba for ¥1500 and the Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl for ¥850. The Tempura was ordered by my wife and she said the shrimp tempura was incredibly delicious. The Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl was sweet, with a nice kick of spice added. The chicken had a lot of skin on it, but it lived up to its reputation for being delicious. We stopped by before using the nearby hot spring facility. The restaurant has a spacious parking lot.
