I arrived at 5:00 pm and was seated at the counter after undergoing alcohol disinfection and temperature checks. I ordered the Takaesu clam liver salad, Meebai masu stew, and a draft beer. I also ordered a glass of awamori and a platter of island-style sushi. The platter included local Okinawan ingredients such as grouper, shellfish, sea grapes, as well as tuna, shrimp, squid, and egg sushi. Throughout the meal, the restaurant received constant phone calls and had to turn away customers due to being fully booked. I recommend making reservations in advance.
"My friend who had always dreamed of going to Hatsueda took me to this restaurant, and I went there without giving it much thought. From the appetizers to the main sushi dishes and desserts, everything was delicious. Honestly, I was surprised by the sophisticated atmosphere on this remote island. I would love to visit again when I come to Iriomote Island. Make sure to make a reservation in advance."
You can enjoy island sashimi and fish dishes at this valuable restaurant where you can also eat island sushi. They also serve awamori, which is great.
3年ぶりに食事をしました。 島風煮つけ 初枝オリジナルらしい を初めてオーダーしました。味付けは砂糖を使わない醤油のみの煮付けですが、根菜の甘みが出汁に出て大変美味しかったです。また食べてみたいです。
島にぎり盛り合わせとマース煮、アバサー汁を 頂きました。 全て丁寧な料理で本当に美味しいです。 来訪間違いなし!
