The "Mixed Fry Set Meal" that you can enjoy here is said to have inherited and recreated the recipe from the original family restaurant called Nanakaze Hara Drive-In from long ago. I deliberately tried it and found it nostalgic, so I might choose it again next time, but there are quite a few other dishes I want to try as well, so I feel like I have to come back here again. Unlike other generic family restaurants that have become franchises, this place boasts its unique style. Despite being hit hard by the effects of the coronavirus and the rising costs of ingredients, this is the time for food enthusiasts in the neighborhood to visit, taste, and share their thoughts here in order to support and liven up the atmosphere!
I saw a local TV show in November 2020 and remembered this restaurant. Since I was nearby, I decided to give it a try. First of all, the parking lot is quite spacious. It can accommodate about 15 cars in the back as well. However, it gets filled up during lunchtime. We arrived just before noon, so we were able to get a table before it got crowded. The drinks were self-service and there was a variety of options like iced tea, hot and iced coffee, and possibly more. The menu was also extensive and gave off a cheap impression. I ordered the chicken with vinegar sauce, and it was delicious with a large, hot, and tender piece. It was around 700 or 770 yen, which is quite affordable. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow until the food was served.
I enjoyed a nostalgic taste of Showa era at this restaurant. I had the chicken with black vinegar sauce set meal. I was very satisfied with the addition of the Gマミー tofu on this day. I will definitely come back again! \^o^/
