We just had an incredible meal, and I couldn't wait to give them a glowing review! My wife and I split the Udon, hamburger and a side of gyoza (600 yen by itself), and everything was incredible. The Udon was flavorful and massive! The vegan karaage that came with it was without a doubt the best we've had yet crunchy, yet super juicy. The burger and fries were also fantastic. It's hard to get such a great consistency and crunch on vegan patties, but she's mastered it! And the sauce that came on the burger was delicious! Everything was very reasonably priced too. We've been to a lot of vegan/vegetarian restaurants and end up spending about ¥1500 per plate. Aina was the best deal and without a doubt some of the best food yet, from Tokyo, Hakone, Nara and Kyoto! It's very homey and comfortable inside. The owner is very welcoming to travelers and speaks great English. Highly recommend, 10/10, would munch again. We walked past it at first though, so look out for the red and white awning directly across from Nize Ya Nize. ありがとうございます!
We had a great lunch at this restaurant near Shinsaibashisuji shopping street. Limited seats and space connected to kitchen but feel so homey here. These tasty food is prepared by the lovely polite lady who welcomed us upon arrival. Claypot toufu set, fried udon noodles, vegetables dumpling set, vegetarian burger set ...and we are blessed to have rice dumpling set today accustomed to dragonboat festival today. Highly recommended for all vegetarians and vegans! The food are good for vegan who avoid onion, garlic and alcohols strictly too.
I had a really nice experience eating here! The manager was very friendly and accommodating of my extremely limited Japanese. The food, all vegetarian, was delicious and beautifully presented. The price is reasonable too, especially considering vegetarian food is such a rarity in Japan. I will definitely be back!
My boyfriend and I came after searching google maps for “vegetarian restaurant” in Osaka and reading others’ reviews. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared by a single Chinese woman as others have noted. The small vegetable dishes all had different flavor profiles, which we loved. Left feeling nourished and happy! 100% recommended.
