Daniel's Restaurant - Bar - ZIHUATANEJO

This restaurant was careless compared to the others. They don’t seem to ‘need’ the business due to their location being right on the beach seems to draw in continuous customers. However, I was completely forgotten about, didn’t receive my drink for half an hour and it wasn’t even very busy. I had intended to eat lunch here, but because they just forgot about me and didn’t come over to check my table I decided not to eat here. And give them a bad review because quite frankly, there are sooooo many wonderful places to eat in Zihau, but this isn’t one of them! And the waiter was shocked when I didn’t leave a tip! I told him I leave a tip for ‘good service’ and this place was very disappointing. Keep walking!

The food and service are always good and it is a great place to watch people. Umberto and Johnny will take good care of you. They have live music several times a week that might just get you up and dancing. Don't miss the bar! Arturo (Heavy Hand) is a great bartender and always a source of entertainment. Great margaritas and a good place to meet new people.

We had the coconut shrimp that were 6 huge shrimp with mango sauce, DELICIOUS!!! And the Garlic Mahi Mahi... very good. Also very reasonable prices. The only thing I did not care for were the bats after dark.

Had dinner here several times. Pretty much the same menu as everywhere else in town . Fresh fish, lots of it. Very cold beer. They have a small bar which is great to meet other travellers. Met lots of good people and had great conversations. Arturo the bartender is one of the best. Whenever we had a beer he'd dig to the bottom of the cooler to get them for us, including one that was partially frozen. Plus he's got a great sense of humor. All the wait staff are good here. Plus they have music quite a few times per week which is a bonus.
