I visited on the day of the Ox Day of the Ox, so I ordered an eel bowl for 1,000 yen including tax and grilled eel for 750 yen including tax. Although the eel was from China and had thick skin, I wondered if it was okay for this price. It was grilled outside. Is it common to cook eel well in Aomori?
