Floating - Zanzibar

The floating bar restaurant was a great discovery in Stone Town. We spent the afternoon chilling. You can even swim if you want. The staff is friendly and the service is somewhat slow, but you know Hakuna Matata :

This place is a jewel. The price is equal to the other restaurants in the city, but the difference is that you get a great view and ambience here. I enjoyed it so much the first time I came back the next day. I don't remember the exact name of the food I ordered, but there were shrimps and carrots in a curry sauce with white rice. It tasted great and filled me. I ordered a cold coke here, and it wasn't cold. It could have been several degrees cooler than the ambient air, but not what someone would normally expect when they think about the world cold. I definitely recommend this place. Very nice staff, very close to the ocean. Hope the gvt inspectors were satisfied!
