Contribuiți la feedbackThis latest visit was about our 4th visit in the last month, and the first time a waiter had asked us if we were familiar with their loyalty program. I could have been taking advantage of this program from our first visit. Very disappointing!
After having made a reservation 3 days earlier, when I arrived tonight, I was told I didn’t have a reservation. Hostess offered to put us on a wait list. Fortunately, I had a text message confirming my reservation.
Shout out to Jack Astor’s in Newmarket!! We ordered take out tonight. I was longing for my favourite stir fry Thai Sesame Chicken, which I’ve ordered many times over the years. This time, I was very disappointed. The chicken was undercooked . I understand the current challenge that many restaurants are facing with understaffing, especially on a busy Friday night. If we had dined in, I would have sent it back. Since we got take out, I debated whether to just let it pass but then felt the restaurant would want to know. So I phoned to give my feedback ... wow!! What an awesome experience. Danny couldn’t have been nicer and more understanding. He was so empathetic and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Thank you so much Danny and Jack Astors’s, Newmarket . I appreciate you and will definitely continue to support this restaurant.
My wife and love going to Jack Astors in Newmarket,We we there on the Sunday evening of the labour day weekend the food was great the busy atmosphere was great our server Eric was excellent.when we got our bill I noticed it was a lot higher that I expected because I trusted them and we have been steadily going there since they opened I made the mistake of not going over the bill,Ishould have.the next day I looked at the bill to see maybe things had gone up because the restaurant industry has incredibly suffered through these tough times when I looked at the bill I noticed they had put Heineken beer on my tab that I never had my wife had a tall boy Coors and the driver me had a Diet Coke.I was not upset at the time I noticed it it was when I called the restaurant I told him I didn't order or have any Heineken beer when I was there Sunday evening and would like to simply be reimbursed for my loss I was not upset with the server Eric he just made an honest mistake unfortunately at my expense the response from the manager shocked me his reply to me was how do I know you didn't order that Heineken I automatically became very upset and aggressive with him he then said I'll take down your address and send you a gift card for the amout of your loss I will NEVER go to Jack Astors again a real Low class outfit
I was with my school and we decide to go out for lunch at this New market Jack Astor's I got to say it was the best service i ever had there were 2 guys name Logan and Cameron they were actually very nice people to talk to Logan also thought about Joseph because my cousin had a peanut allergy the food was a 20/20 because poutine was made and no order was mistaken and the desert even yummier and even taste like your in Tim hortines thank you so much for creating best service we ever had we hope we see you again.
