We ordered Paella and Deep Fried Squid to start. WOW Beautiful fresh seafood. I’ve never had prawns so good. Beautiful view whilst you’re eating too. Staff are very friendly
As previous reviewers state, it’s very busy and a captive audience. Which is what you would expect. What I would not expect is the amount of food you get and the prices. Smoked salmon with mouse (nothing else with it) 16 Euros, my wife had. Basically 2 mouthfuls (would be a great starter in a nice restaurant, but not at 16 euros). I had the beef salad a few bits of meat, rocket with this, similar price. We both left very hungry and frustrated and over 30 euros lighter. To be fair for what little food we had it was excellent and I think the staff did a good job dealing with such a busy place. Only reason given it one star was felt ripped off..
Probably the best tuna I have ever tasted. The drive is bumpy and Dusty and the place was quiet as the amazing sunset approached. Dinner for 3 came to 70 euros. 3 mains. 2 desserts and soft drinks. Portions were good. Service was fairly speedy but only one waitress so if there had been more diners it might have been slow. It was very dark after sunset but if you wanted a romantic meal I think this would add to the appeal. I am only staying for 1 week and there are many other places to try but I might just make the bouncy drive again.
We stopped off at this cafe for a break after walking from our villa in Playa Blanca. This has become a regular stopping off point. The tables under coconut topped sun shades provide a fabulous view over the sandy bay below. We had cold drinks and a couple of plumb crumble cakes which were very moist and tasty with fresh plums embedded in a pasty with crumble topping. If you get he chance and they are on the menu go for the figs they are to die for! Friendly service provided by the whole team.
