Ed Hyder's Mediterranean Marketplace

First time there. It is truly an oasis for the area. Nice selection of diverse and reasonably priced wines. The young man offering guidance on the wine section, I think his name is Justin/Justice , is very knowledgeable and super helpful. I know a lot about wine and he was right on point. The folks at the deli counter are also very friendly and the food is terrific. I bought way more than I anticipated, but in a good way. I will absolutely be back.

I love this place. Wine and beer selection is amazing on top of the best spice selection Ive seen in new england. Everything they make is wonderful. Love the hyders.

Now that some time has passed, I thought I 'd keep it real.When I owned the first and only winery in the city (with the highest rated wines in the state according to Wine Enthusiast, so it 's not because my product sucked), Ed Hyders had no interest in carrying my wines. These guys talk about supporting local, but it 's BS.My grandfather also fought fires out of that building when it was a fire station and they knew that. That is a made-to-order marketing opportunity, but Miriam didn 't remotely care.I never said no to a local business that wanted to partner. If I had a need, I always reached out to a local partner first. ALWAYS.I even had a chocolatier that I loved working with in Framingham. But when I heard about a chocolatier in Holden creating high quality products, I reached out to them because they were even MORE local than who I was working with. That 's how seriously I took supporting other local businesses.It won 't matter. They 'll still have tons of business, but customers should have the entire picture.

Great place to go for anything middle eastern. We Go for great Armenian food and ingredients...

Quaint local market with a Mediterranean flair. Their seasonings are my favorite as they are decently priced, fresh, and stock hard to find items like sumac and Syrian pepper. Their deli has delicious salads and meats. The staff are helpful. The prices are on the higher end but you're not going to find alot of these items in your local supermarket. Support your local businesses.
