My wife and I went here for our First wedding anniversary dinner, and it did not disappoint.

I have been going to the Melting Pot for the past 15 years with my family in Kansas City.

My boyfriend & I had a date night here finally, and it was nothing short of amazingDefinitely a one of a kind experience.

We often stop at Country Pride restaurants in TA truckstops as we drive through the US. They have decent, reasonably priced meals that we enjoy.We expected a similar experience here, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that the buffet was far superior!The food tasted homemade. Everything was fresh. Their prime rib was so tender I cut it with a butter knife, and I think they put crack in their sticky toffee pudding!We don't review many truckstops, but I want this one on the record so we don't forget to stop here again!

We went for the Mother's Day brunch today. We had reservations for a large party but when we arrived no record of it. They were able to seat us at two different tables. Soup was terrible....hot buffet had some kind of breakfast potato casserole (made from whole frozen French fries), overcooked dried out fried chicken, ham (with nobody there to slice it.) and processed meat balls with some kind of mystery sauce.. no fresh fruit..(although salad fixin's were fresh)..No top ups for our coffees or soft drinks.. At $16.95 per person for brunch go someplace else and have a decent meal...We know its a truck stop but for that price expect a lot more. No excuse for the dried out and stale food, considering the place was packed and people were waiting for a table..
