Gia Nina's Pizza - Woodbury

Tonight we called in a delivery order that included four sandwiches. in the delivery we received three sandwiches – one was wrong and one was missing overall. we contacted them about the mistakes, thought it would take care of them. the woman at the other end but accused us of making the order wrong, which led to the wrong sandwiches being delivered, and then accused us of providing more money for the right sandwiches. as often as we have ordered from gia nina in the run of the years, we never had such a disappointing experience. in that we have kept this restaurant and her eating so far quite high. but I don't think we'll order from here again. the accusation of the customer due to mistakes made by the restaurant, and the second time, if it were to have been delivered the first time, is wrong and inevitable.

Delicious food and it's really a great atmosphere, especially if they are looking for a romantic short holiday. I went on Friday and they had an artist playing music. was a nice touch, and they know how everyone says that the owner checks them to see if they enjoy their evening? I had cured the crab spiders with lemon (delicious and different) and steak hoagie. was a good support. they recommend this to all in nj. it is a special place, but be warned. the line began to form when I was finished. the people know about this place.

I recently ate at gianinas with 5 other family members. almost all of us found eating very disappointing. four people began with the caesar salat and all four said the salat had much too much dressing and ruined the salat. the salat was fresh with a beautiful selection of ingredients and was the perfect size. rolls came with the meal. they looked very beautiful and were dressed with garlic, but the rolls themselves were nothing special. two men ordered the lasagne and were completely underwhelmed. a person ordered the huh parmesan and loved it. another person had the ravioli I also tasted. they were large and served with cheese and soaked, but the filling tasted dry and heavy and overall the dish was not particularly delicious. not the best ravioli we have ever had and would not recommend them. another person had the cuddles in red sauce, but I did not get any feedback from them. my court has the price for the worst. I ordered the tilapia over linguine with spade. it sounded delicious. the pasta was so oily that it was not edible. the fish tasted “out”. I thought it was me and offered to try others. Nobody liked it and nobody wanted to eat it. a person in our group brought it home to feed the wash bears in their farm. When the waitress came to our table, I mentioned that tilapia was not important to me. she offered to bring something else, but by then all the others were good in their meal times, so the timing didn't work and I went back. our group tried several desserts. a person had a chocolate dessert he liked. the apple cracked 2 thumbs down. the cannoli was rated at best in average. the waitress was very friendly. in consideration of the quality of the meal we considered the restaurant overpriced. we brought a bottle of red wine from home. overall I would not recommend gia nina to dinner.

That was our first trip to gia nina and it won't be our last. the food was excellent and the service was commendable. we stayed in her sister restaurant, speranza to several places and loved it. we often come here. if they are looking for a great eating with a great atmosphere that will not break their bank while they still feel like fine eating, gia nina is the place to go. highly recommended.

I never usually complain about this restaurant but i just had my first bad experience. We ordered a large prosciutto pizza and a steak Stromboli. When i arrived i paid for the order and was told to wait for a few minutes. After what seemed like about 10 minutes i recieved my order and checked to make sure it was the right one by looking at the slip and sure enough it said lg prosciutto and steak stromboli. So i assumed the order was correct until i opened the box and saw that i got a Margherita pizza instead of prosciutto the steak stromboli was still there but i was still upset about this.
