Contribuiți la feedbackAfter eating at the restaurant, it was nice to eat, this time we took away. I ordered lemon chicken, most balls of fried teig, hardly one huh in it, the other two dishes I ordered were not very tasteful to say the least. for the price we paid, I was very disappointed. will not go back there.
The staff was welcoming and accommodating. However, the food was disappointing as it lacked flavor. Additionally, there was a delay in receiving the appetizer, which was confusing.
This restaurant serves a huge bowl of steaming soup with perfectly balanced aromas. The noodles are thick, lush, and silky in generous portions. While the restaurant may not be beautiful and it is BYO, the comfort bowl of pho here beats all the others. The food is always great, and on my last visit, they even played authentic and interesting Vietnamese music. However, as more white diners filled the tables, they switched to Nora Jones and other boring English music. The owners of Ha Long Bay should offer the full Vietnamese dining experience to their customers who come for the wonderful cuisine and culture.
The Chinese cuisine at this bowling club style restaurant was extremely average. It was disappointing that it was not Vietnamese cuisine as advertised. The satay sticks and curry puffs lacked flavor and were only lukewarm. The Shakey bark was decent, but the bark and black bean lacked taste. The baked rice was below average. We don't understand the positive reviews based on our experience. We will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant.
Book a table on the balcony, great view and place to enjoy your meal. Pretty good food, for example the squid was excellently fried but could use a bit more spice and salt. Ingredients were very fresh. Staff were enthusiastic, genuine and a bit quirky.
