Thompson House - Windsor

Stopped by last night around midnight with 12 friends after dining at Spago's earlier in the evening.

We have been to this place at least 10 times since moving to Windsor June 26th, and every time the food is terrific. We have brought so many people here because it's so good and consistent.

Nice neat clean place more for those who want some more refined atmosphere. But don't let that fool you as a party can break out. Parking can be a problem but don't let that stop you. Nice stouts and other beers on tap. Full liquor bar. Food is plentiful and hot! Sit upstairs. Very nice. Try the deep fried Mac and cheese balls as an appetizer. I had Cottage Pie. Nice. Little more gravy would have put it over the top. Or butter on top of piped mashed potatoes. Girls had fish. Really good. Nice place to talk. Never felt rushed. Check it out!!

Good atmosphere. Great service, very nice staff. Good choice of beers. Good bar food - especially like the chicken wings. One of my favorites in Windsor. We'll be returning.
