Contribuiți la feedbackWent here today for breakfast. Great food. Very chill and low key atmosphere. Everything my friend and I ordered was delicious, fresh and homemade! Love it!!
A friend recommended this place for good, cheap breakfast food so we gave it a shot. Showed up around 10, left at 12:15... wait an hour and a half for our food. The waitress just comes up to the table and literally stands there- doesn't...More
Know about it from a Windsor Star article. Sat with my son and right away saw that some cleaning needed to be done. Just the wife and owner cooking in the little kitchen. Menu had enough of a selection, so we both picked the club house sammy. After abit came to realize that they only cooked 1 table at atime, so with 4 tables before us, a long wait. The serving size of the fries was large, decently done for frozen, but the sammy. The bacon had a funny burnt taste to it, and with Leamington close, a better tomato can be had. Sad to say, I did not realize till I was on my last segment of sammy that it was constructed with two slices of bread, not three as my sons was. OKAY. Well, we had to eat quickly as I had to pick up my wife for a doctors visit, so the meal was wolfed down. Disappointed, but I would like to try the breakfast, seems like a good deal.
Recommend panzerotti or breakfast from here. Brought many people here over the year's. The food is cheap for the quantity. The quality is medium. Recommended over fast food and if you support small businesses like myself. Call with your order even if you are eating inside because there is only 1 cook and kitchen is small.
My husband and I went here because it was recommended by a friend. We've been living in Windsor for 15yrs and this is the first time I've heard of this place. When my friend was giving us directions on how to get there, we thought it was an odd location for a restaurant. It's at the end of the street of a residential neighborhood. From the outside, if you didn't see the sign, you would think it's just an old house. I suppose they advertise by word of mouth and if that's the case, people must really like it here. However, I'm not a fan. First of all, they cater to a lot of senior citizens but it's not wheel chair accessible (if it is, I didn't see a ramp). Their front door is so heavy that on our way out, my husband had to hold it open for an 80-something year-old man who was already struggling to go up the 2-3step stairs. Their prices are really reasonable, probably why the senior citizens love it here. Anyways, we were there for breakfast so we ordered their 2 eggs with home fries, toast and a choice of bacon, sausage and ham. We also ordered coffee. Coffee was very pale just by the look of it. I put 1 creamer and it turned so white. I was drinking hot water with a touch of coffee and cream. Food was good, no doubt about it but it's not something we can't make at home. They have a really big serving of home fries, it looks so overwhelming on a medium-sized plate. 2 eggs cooked to your preference and 4pcs of meat (I ordered ham and my husband had sausage so we traded 2 for 2). No complaints on that part. I didn't use their washroom but my husband did and he said it was dirty. This place has potential but needs upgrading and an extra staff to help cleanup.
