Scratch Magoos - Wilmington

The bartenders here are on point. The food is standard pub fare, and is done very well. Decent beer selection, well made cocktails. The real beauty of the place is the outdoor patio out back in the summer. It's a great spot to hang for some day drinking. The bar is usually a little slower than some of the other trolley spots on Friday and Saturday, so if you're into that, then you'll be pleased. Absolutely worth a visit.

Good service with good food as well. I love the steak and eggs cheese steak it's the best in Trolley Square. The servers and bartenders are really nice and always quick to see what you want. I would recommend this place. Although today our service was a bit slow due a party outside, but they were nice and comped us our lunch. Go here if you want good and good service.

Wonderful outside atmosphere, Nicole was outstanding. She was very attentive to everyone. Her attitude and smile made me feel welcome. The food was good, even though I knew I couldn't finish an entire club sandwich. It tasted fresh and delicious.

Decent beer selection. Typically less busy than the Oyster house next door nowadays. Have had mixed quality staff. Sometimes they're excellent and super attentive, other times I have to work to flag someone down.

The staff is very easy to get acquainted with and they'll make you feel like a regular in no time. With just a simple tap on your glass or tug on your ear they'll have a fresh libation condensing before your very eyes. With such a knowledgeable and entertaining staff it's no wondering they make Tom cruise and the state of Mississippi nervous. If you're down to your bottom dollar, you better spend it here.
