Bertucci's Italian - Wilmington

A bit disappointed with my order. I got pizza Verde to go today and arugula on it was yellow and wilted. Prosciutto didn't taste good as well. May try something else at some point but definitely won't order pizza Verde ever again

Marissa is the bomb My son, wife, and I went out for dinner, on a Tuesday night, and it was BOGO on pizzas! Amazing! Marissa let us know after we ordered our pizza so we got another one to go! Way to keep us informed We ordered way too much but had a good time. Marissa made the good food a great experience. I recommend asking for her if you go. She was attentive, checked on us appropriately, and made a great dessert suggestion. Food: They start out with house bread with olive oil and pepper. Our appetizer was the Mozzarella Fritta which was perfectly prepared and served atop delicious tomato sauce. My son was happy. Next we had our three entrees delivered, Chicken Parmigiana, Farmhouse Salad, and Puchillo pizza. The chicken was seasoned well, had the delicious sauce, and was liked by all. However, the spaghetti left much to be desired. Although not the center piece of the entree, the spaghetti was overcooked and should changed to another type of pasta (in my opinion). Maybe a thinner spaghetti... The Farmhouse salad was perfect! The dressing was just the right amount. It had olives, fresh mozzarella, and everything else you could want in a salad. We had salmon on top and it was cooked just right. Lastly, the Puchillo pizza had a good ratio of meat, cheese and veggies. The pizza was cooked just right. Additionally, the Margherita pizza we had the following night was good after we reheated it as well. As we were winding down we decided to go for dessert. Marissa suggested we try the Lemon Mascarpone cake. We did and it was good. It was a refreshing taste of a citrus custard. We also tried the cannoli that had chocolate chips and a chocolate drizzle. Good taste and a satisfying way to end a good night. We recommend you try Bertucci's. #HastyFoodiePic

I went today and the place at 4pm was empty. The foid was good but i just have to complain about the waitress. She could have cared less weather we got our food or water or anything. Took forever to wait on us to busy on her ass on the phone. Never asked if wanted refill of drinks. Had to get manager to get oyr bill. Amazing that they work on tips and she just didnt care. Never look us in the eyes. I could see if the place was busy but one other table had 2 people. . Shame foid was decent but i wont go back .

This place is an unmitigated disaster. Not enough personnel, can't get anything. 15 min wait for a waiter, 15 minute wait for a beer, 45 min wait for bad wings. Saw several parties leave after waiting for a hostess for so long. Employees arguing in front of customers. I remember this chain when it started decades ago and was packed every night. Honestly feel bad for the workers here.

Today 4/16/21 A friend and I went up on 202 Concord Pike and had lunch at Berticci's. The food was only ok, the service considering only 1 waiter with 2 tables was just below average. What was totally unacceptable were the dust bunnies hanging from the filthy tile ceiling which at any point and time could be on your plate of food or drink. The waiter did tell management my observation and the assistant manager did come over to address my complaint. Her solution was she would pass on information to management and hopefully next time we visit the ceiling tiles would be clean. No I'm sorry, no comp. I told her we would not be returning.To the response from Bertucci's Someone had the same complaint 5 months ago. The dirt hanging today has taken longer then 3 years to accumulate. When the health department closes you down , you'll have plenty of time to clean.
