El Chaton - Wichita Falls

At long last, Wichita Falls has a new Mexican grilled chicken restaurant. The chicken here is served juicy and hot, in generous portions, and at a great value. The burritos are large, delicious, and made with freshly cooked tortillas. Just the thought of it is making me hungry, even though I just finished my meal there. Right now, they have a fantastic special where you get a free half chicken (4 pieces) for every 8 piece combo you purchase, with no limit on how many combos you can buy. An 8 piece combo (with tortillas, 2 salsas, beans, rice, and pickled onions) is only around $16. You definitely won't leave hungry. The staff is friendly and attentive. This is a local, family-owned establishment – the food may be Mexican, but the American dream is alive and well here. Support local businesses and give El Chaton a try!

I am amazed by the authentic Mexican food at this restaurant. The staff, especially the ladies, are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and reminds me of a home-cooked meal by my mother.

I have tried Menudo at restaurants all around the state, and this is by far the best I have ever had. It is full of flavor and spice, with generous portions and no oily fat. The daily specials are also delicious, but my personal favorite is the Gorditas on Fridays. You get two stuffed with your choice of meat, beans, and rice for only $6.50. Can you find a better deal than that? I also ordered a small serving of menudo for breakfast, as I was eating late.

Excellent good and service. el chaton is a small place with an active To-Go business. pozole is served daily and it is excellent. the red salsa is hot. they offer big burritos, you are much for most. her icy is good, ask her for lemon. her togo order is kept warm until they arrive. they are not open on Mondays.

I love this place! it is my favorite Burrito place in the city, but it sux they have changed the working time so that the last few paintings I went to get a burritos, they were closed because they were closed on Monday and once I went on a Monday to try to get a burrito and they were not open then the other time they closed 3 now are the new hours and I didn't think so that they were open. that sucks. it's been since I had a good burrito!
