El Pollo Loco - Whittier

The restaurant is spotless, the service was quick, and the food is as delicious as ever.

Eating at all locations of El Pollo Loco is consistently great. The food at this point is no exception. However, there are 2 large setbacks here that take away all rating stars: 1. The prices are significantly higher, as much as $ 2 on some meals. 2. The employees have no customer knowledge, never a smile or even a touch of joy that you want to choose this place over the others. My senior group had this place for us, no surprise because of the prices and the lack of co-friendliness. I hope this location can get a manager that can increase employee friendliness, increase customer traffic and possibly lower prices when companies pick up.

The chicken is always dry and shrunk. Birria tacos are good, but 2 for $10 is really expensive

I had a terrible experience with the customer service at this restaurant. As soon as we arrived to place our order, the lady at the counter was already giving us attitude. It felt like she was annoyed just by our presence. When I asked for extra salad dressing, she was extremely rude and had to call over another employee to assist us because she didn't want to help. Overall, it was the worst service I've ever encountered. Maria, the employee who assisted us, was particularly unprofessional.
