De Luca's - Whittier

Came without reservation on my Birthday. Promptly served Excellent Food Service surprised with Birthday desert. Highly appreciated-Highly Recommended

Our family has had De Luca's cater many parties for us until July 1st. Had trouble being on time to pick up our food, when I walked into the restaurant I was scolded over and over and told that I had been called six times and that the food is cold now, by the owner. I was charged $66 for a half a tray of garlic strips which is bread with garlic on it needless to say after being treated like a felon and the exorbitant prices we will never use DeLuca's for catering or a restaurant for dinner or lunch ever again.

Had the pleasure to enjoy the best Authentic Italian cuisine found in California. Fresh and delicious with attention to detail. The owner Carlos visits each guest and insures the experience is a great one. The staff and service is on point. Enjoy your visit.

First time diner at this restaurant. I liked their antipasto salad, calamari appetizer and their NY Style pizza was also very good. Nice friendly neighborhood warm feeling. The service was exceptional. ??They also have an extra room in the back for special events. The decor was nice and their big etched window that looks into the kitchen was a nice touch.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that they charge extra for sharing a meal. ?As my wife and I are aging, we don't eat as much and we can't finish a whole meal by ourselves. We like sharing a main course then it allows us to get an appetizer or a salad or soup to share. I feel that it should be our choice of how much to eat. I don't like that the restaurant makes that choice for us or we get penalized by an additional fee, no matter how much the fee may be.In addition, we travel a lot so it is real inconvenient for us to have leftovers sometimes. Luckily, we met up with friends and were able to taste many things tonight. We still had a ton of leftovers. Our friends were more than happy to take it home to their daughters
