Novo Cafe Westlake Village

We have always been a fan of Novo, but we were there last night with a oarty of 8 and the food just wasn’t as good. Salmon and potatoes were over cooked and everything was just ok. Hoping we hit a bad night as we want them to stick around

Food was awful. Service was awful. Salmon was pure salt. Screwed up our orders and never even apologized.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant. We were sat in a rush but didn’t have a server come to our table for at least 15 minutes after we were sat. Then the busing staff brought us water and silverware. It took another 10 minutes for someone to come up to ask us if we wanted anything to drink or if we were ready to order. The whole night continued that way. although our server was very sweet, the service and timing of the entire meal was a complete disappointment. The food was the same….. There was one gentleman that was walking around and talking to certain people that he was familiar with, but never once asked how things were for us. I will not return to this restaurant.

The food was wonderful. The service needs work. It seems they were short staffed. The person setting our table practically threw the silverware at us.

Excellent restaurant with early bird discount. Service was excellent by a young lady. Met our daughter who ordered a salad and glass of wine. I had lobster ravioli which was tasty and filling. My wife also had a healthy salad. Not crowded, but food and service weren5 stars.
