Great Awakening Brewing - Westfield

Nice beers on tap. I do believe that is all they serve. The vibe was industrial. Plenty of open space, corn hole and lots of parking on either side of the building.

A decent selection of beers, nothing caught my attention on this visit except for an IPA that they've had for a while. Food menu looks interesting, but haven't tried anything off it yet. I never think to eat here, so I'm usually just stopping in for a beer or two. The staff is underwhelming without much interaction. Not sure if they offer table service like they used to (call button on the table), but it was walk up only the night we went. Seemed a little excessive to have 5 people working for a walk up bar. They were more interested chatting with each other in a circle and using their phones than they did assisting guests. Glasses sat empty for longer than expected, so we just got one and asked for the check. I'll try again next time I'm visiting.

The beer is good and the space has potential but the staff is always quite rude and food is limited and overpriced for small portions. Terrible outdoor space as well. If you're looking for a brewery in the area there are several better options.

Fantastic experience we had with everyone at Great Awakening Brewing for my husband’s surprise 50th birthday party. Everything was wonderful and even more than I imagined it would be. I would definitely recommend Great Awakening Brewing for future events to my family and friends. The food was phenomenal, staff were great and very attentive, and of course the beer was delicious! The beer was enjoyable, although I would say it falls just short of the top players in Massachusetts like Trillium and Tree House. They do offer a pleasing variety of styles! I tried a barrel-aged stout, a pastry stout, and a double IPA, all of which were quite enjoyable. The biggest surprise for me was how delicious the food was. The menu is quite limited, which might put some people off, but to me, that usually indicates freshness—and it definitely was! My only complaint is that the distance from the kitchen to the table meant my tacos arrived a bit cool. However, the flavors were outstanding! I'm looking forward to trying more items from the food menu during my next visit.
