What an awesome experience, Passport wine tasting definitely a must. Great staff!!

Nice play area for the kids, this is the reason we go there. The food is simple but tasty. Limited options for vegetarians and pretty much none for vegans. The amount of single use plastic is quite shocking. Plastic cups, straws and bowls for tomato sauce.

Franschhoek Cellar is lovely. Beautiful setting. The restaurant was nice. I ordered the grilled chicken salad, not thinking it would be an issue with my dietary requirements. However it arrived with some type of glaze/sauce on. After asking about 3 different waitresses to please find out what it is, the chef personally came to speak to me which I greatly appreciate as I'm not not just gluten intolerant but as I explained, have Celiac disease. A lovely venue and excellent wines. We particularly recommend the unwooded Chardonnay. However — we tasted the white wines first. Thereafter, the 3 red wines were poured in our uncleaned white wine glasses, which is totally unacceptable. It degraded the tasting experience.
