Contribuiți la feedbackNice cozy place in downtown west reading I have had both dinner and drinks Prices are reasonable and the quality if both food and service is great They had a lot of awesome looking cocktail options last tine i was there Great place for a date
A West Reading must! Went out with the hubs for a rare date night, and decided upon Bistro 614. We couldn't of been more pleased. Wait staff were professional and personable, atmosphere was intimate (good for a couple or small group), enjoyed an excellent martini, and the main course was just superb. Highly recommend the Edleflower Tini to start! We both ordered the diver scallops as our main entree, and we can't say enough... soooo good! My husband said this was his best meal [ever] in Berks County, and that says a lot considering we love food so much! Hats off the the chef! As an aside, Bistro 614 did not turn up in our Yelp search as we were trying to find the perfect place to go, so I felt compelled to write a review to help draw people to this Berks County treasure. We consider ourselves a well traveled family, and good food is a priority when we dine out. Although a little on the pricier side, stopping at Bistro 614 while in the area is an absolute must!
One if my go to date night spots. Food is always fresh and great. I'm a huge fan of their pineapple vanilla margs and dessert.
Dinner tonight was absolutely delicious. I ordered the coquilles st. Jacques upon the waiters recommendation and i was not disappointed! My friends ordered the chicken entree and crab cakes and they loved theirs as well. The elderflower martini was superb! The bread and salad couldn't have been better. The bread reminded me of when I was in Greece with the fresh olive oil and olives. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgable, attentive and worked as a team. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice upscale dinner!
Brunch with $10 unlimited mimosas. The menu changes and has some great staples. The food is served in a fancy way, but they don't give you shi shi foo foo portions, so you actually feel like you've had a whole meal. You have to make reservations, but it's never been crowded when I've gone. The staff is attentive. There are two regular servers on Sunday, from what I've seen, and they've always done a good job ... Did I mention the $10 unlimited mimosas?
