Wah Yuen - West Lothian

This is my local Chinese and i am normally thoroughly impressed, however tonight, i am not! My shredded chicken came in what tasted like a sweet and sour sauce when i specifically asked for chilli. So then i thought ill leave that and enjoy my phenomenal spring rolls. AGAIN disappointed. They were soggy and did not have much flavour. This is unusual from this restaurant as they are normally superb, tonight was like chalk and cheese to normal. I hope they up there game or ill not be back.

I used to frequent another highly rated Chinese takeaway, but I'll never go anywhere else besides Wah Yuen now. I have never had a bad meal there.

I always order from this restaurant because they have the best prices and quality. The lady who runs the place is always happy to accommodate any special requests we have with our order. It's a lovely restaurant with a family-run atmosphere. The only downside is that they are closed on Tuesdays, so I can't get Chinese food that day.

I have eaten meals from this restaurant before and they were delicious, but tonight's meal was awful. The chicken was slimy as if it had been boiled to a pulp. I have never tasted chicken like this before and I will not be in a rush to order from them again.

Am very partial to Chinese take away have tried so many different dishes and takeaway shops suppose I do give this one preference the service is very good they are all so polite and smile all the time very nice family my preference in here has to be there chicken and king prawn curry texture smooth not thick or too runny the fried rice is perfect light and tasty I do hate fried rice that is stodgy and sticks together,my preference of coarse .
