Mei's Kitchen - West Lindsey

This meal was amazing, I order a mixed vegetable-coop-suey with herbal spring rolls and it was brilliant! the sweet went so well together it was angelic! portions could have been bigger, but apart from that, this meal was perfect.

Eating was very good; when we finally got it, this is! ordering can be done by phone, website and personally, but mei and the woman on the street (which had just begun that day) seemed overwhelmed and confused, which means we wait over an hour until our order received online after we offered several other people vain. I think it was probably a bad day and would definitely go back there!

I thought I would give mei's Kitchen a go, Me and the wife were so disapointed. My wifes sweet and sour HK was dry and tasted as if they had used malt viniga and my sweet and sour chicken balls were soft and chewy and again tasted as if it was old oil (very old. the two large spring rolls were thrown in the bin before we got round to eating them as they two were soft and well over cooked. People say oh they must have had a bad day but in the catering trade a bad day can ruin a restaurant, If it wasn't for the fact i live out of town I would have taken it back, instead I will not be ordering again from them..such a shame and a let down..

I decided to try Mei's Kitchen, but my wife and I were disappointed with our meals. Her sweet and sour chicken was dry and tasted like vinegar, while my chicken balls were soft and chewy, with an old oil flavor. The spring rolls we ordered were also soggy and overcooked. Some may say they were just having a bad day, but in the restaurant industry, a single bad experience can be detrimental. If I lived closer, I would have considered returning the food, but instead, I won't be ordering from them again. It's a shame and a disappointment.
