Black Horse Inn - West Lindsey

Had simply a fabulous Sunday dinner thanks to mark and jo the bark was delicious

We had a laugh at the black horse! this is not a gourmet bar, but if you want a real northern hospitality, this is your place! (not sure why it says permanently closed on FB page, as it is very open to us!

The man behind the bar didn't give a very friendly welcome. I had an issue with another guest who had their Labrador off leash, which was bothering my Jack Russell who was on a leash. The guest got very rude when I asked them to control their dog. I didn't appreciate being sworn at, so my overall experience was awful. The "coke" they served tasted like cleaning fluid, so I would rather go thirsty than ever return to that pub.

We had a wonderful experience at The Black Horse pub in Ingham. The Sunday lunch was delicious and the owners were very friendly. They made us feel very welcome and we can't wait to return, along with Maisie the labrador. Thank you!

Haven't eaten here as yet, but I can say the beer is really good. Friendly atmosphere and very cosy.Highly recommended.
