Marquis Buffet and Bistro - WEST HOBART

Drove all the way from Launceston to try this place out! Was greeted by the loveliest gentleman who I presume was manager/owner. He looked after us from the moment we walked through the door. When I booked I mentioned that we only had a small window of time to eat. The gentleman let us know as soon as the buffet was ready to go which I appreciated heaps! Food was delicious! From butter chicken to potato bake to roast pork and a bowl of crackling to the home sticky date pudding which was to die for! I’ve been to quite a few buffets and this was hands down the best in Tassie! Amazing service and amazing food! Will definitely be back!

We had our work christmas dinner there this friday just gone. A big shout out to Atef and his staff on a great enjoyable night. We had the buffet and the food was absolutely beautiful and so much of it. The staff are very friendly and i couldn't recommend this place enough. We had the whole place to ourselves for a private function and also had a dj there. Once again thank you for a great night marquis bistro and buffet. We will definitely be back

I have visited the Buffet several times over the past few years. The manager is always welcoming and even remembers regular customers, which is a rare find in such a busy industry. On one occasion, I mentioned it was my son's birthday and the manager arranged for a chef to bring out a small cupcake with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate around the plate. The staff are very efficient with clearing plates, allowing you to quickly grab a fresh plate and enjoy your meal again. I am looking forward to returning soon.

The staff at this restaurant were amazing. They were extremely accommodating and efficient. The variety of options to choose from was excellent, whether it be meats, seafood, salads, or desserts. Kudos to the staff, chefs, and management for a job well done.

The atmosphere is laid-back and the service is friendly, overall I have mostly positive things to say. The salads and vegetarian options were a bit mediocre, but the meat choices are excellent. Kids will enjoy the dessert bar with a mini ice cream fridge!
