Vista Pub - West Des Moines

Great pizza, great patio, great drinks and a great staff.

I come here often and everyone is friendly and I have great bar service. One of my favorite places to catch a game. It's the only bar I know of making most of their food from scratch and it tastes great. It's also very clean. That's huge

Staff was very attentive. Quiet and a close walk from the Marriott and Fairfield.

Place has a clientele problem. Loud mouth at the bar tried to get a fight with a guy to tap his credit card and threatened to cut someone else's neck to tell him that was out of the line. The answer of the bartender was simple, that he (the instigator) was a regular and acted like a rational reaction. This bar is a news story and a Dram Shop insurance problem just waiting to happen. Edit: I left my contact information with the bar and post talk with the manager, I was sure that while the Instigator was a semi-regular (always not yet a random entry from a hotel area) She was not aware that the full circumstances surrounding the evening event. I still do not think that the situation should have occurred, or that it was properly handled by the employees in advance, but it was said that the corrective action is made available to the staff and that the manager would find out who the instigator was to ensure that no further behaviour of this kind would be allowed. Raising review from 1 star to 2 stars. This does not reflect my opinion about the visit, but my appreciation of the management's commitment to improving customer experience at Vista Pub. Omg this place is awesome!! Ask for Angie she freakin rocks!!!Wings and pizza are the best. This Georgia Boy tells it like it is!!!!
