Cafe - Restaurant Unter den Linden

I went to this cafe with my mother for a drink. We placed our order and sat down. It took a very long time to arrive even though only 2 other people in the cafe. My mum's coffee was very nice but my gluhwein was so hot it was difficult to drink! The two staff (a young pleasant lady & an older lady) immediately started to count the money & switch the lights off, they obviously wanted to go home. We took the hint & put our coats on quickly. In the rush my mum knocked a candle and some wax went on the table. The older lady rushed over shouting. I explained we didn't speak German very well but we were sorry for the accident. She continued to shout & as I understand a little German recognized that she was being very rude! We will never go back to this cafe!

... especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside! (Inside, it's a bit dark) Excellent breakfast as well as 'yummy' sweets and cakes! Service could be a bit more friendly ...
