The Bistro - TUNBRIDGE WELLS

The view from the bistro is worth it alone. but they get a lot more. tasteful decor, good food and great service (danke phil and the team.) all this for a very inexpensive menu. there are many parking places and they can also enjoy the lake (walking, cycling etc.) worth visiting.

Had a fabulous Sunday dinner with my friends perfect view of the water staff were friendly with smiles and made us very welcome chocolate cream brûlée was delicious

We visited this restaurant after reading the Google reviews and we were not disappointed, we were greeted by Matt the manager he was really friendly and welcoming, our table was so nice with a romantic feel. Our waitress was friendly and professional and she made sure we had everything. Our main course was stunning I had the fish cakes and my husband had the sea bass, he said it was cooked to perfection. Dessert was the spiced ginger sticky toffee pudding for me and the cheese board for my husband we were very impressed on the quality of our choices. The whole ambiance of the restaurant is romantic and is very well decorated throughout. I would recommend this restaurant with no question and would love to visit again sometime. The Boathouse keep doing what you are doing because you are doing a great job!

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed because of Covid-19. But there's always next year to look forward to!
