Subway - Wawa

The food is fresh and made to your specifications. The staff is friendly. It is a Subway. Like every other Subway in Canada.

I never thought I would write a Subway review but this location had so many issues I couldn't ignore it. Stopped in here for 3 subs, and with only one customer ahead of me I thought it would be a quick purchase. I was soooo wrong. Just terrible bread. They had burnt their breads and still tried to serve it (all the cheese breads had really dark brown ends, she had to go through all of them to find one that wasn't as burnt, so I just switched to white bread), when I finally ate my sub, the bread was sooo stale! The lettuce was wilted and browning. The sandwich 'artist' was so inconsistent with the toppings (had to ask twice for more lettuce just to get my sub covered evenly end to end she just kept sprinkling lettuce in the centre and leaving the ends empty!?, then when I asked for "just a little bit of onion", she put a huge pile on, and really heavy handed with s & p). Slow as molasses service. This was the worst Subway experience I've had. None of us enjoyed our lunch, and it was a waste of $27! I should've just ran into the Metro Grocery - would've been faster and fresher for sure.

Very slow service, we went at 1pm and we were 10th in line, it took 45 minutes to be able to order.

I stopped by on our road trip and was absolutely disgusted in the service. Out of all of the bread options they only had 3 available, all of which looked very old. They only had enough tuna for a half sub, then after changing our order twice the worker became obnoxiously annoyed. Asked to add spinach to my sub as all I get is spinach and cucumber where I was told that although the container was completely full, that was reserved for paninis. I no longer wanted a sub that's when she then took a handful of spinach and said "this is all you get if you're going to argue". Stated I no longer wanted the sub and she slightly raised her voice and said "I don't have time to play games, I'm doing what my boss tells me. So no spinach unless it's a panini" ... There was no one else in line. After asking her why she was being so rude she stormed out after us and wrote down our license plate, when we asked what her issue was she told us "just wait and see". I really wish I caught her name but I didn't want to stick around and continue to be threatened.

Stopped here to grab some food. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our lunch and the air conditioning and then were on the road again. A great place to stop for a rest.
