The hotel does need updating and the whirlpool jets were broken, but the room was clean and cool. The employees were very nice. The breakfast was delicious... Better than most hotel breakfasts.Rooms: 4/5

This used to be a crown plaza I believe, now its just an oversized motel. There was a awful smell on the 8th floor where are room was and hair in the bathtub. I asked the front desk to have someone clean it. They were understaffed so they could not. The guy at the front desk offered to clean it himself, however he was swapped with check-ins. I checked out at went to another hotel.

Absolutely atrocious customer service pray you never have to make a late night check-in. The 3rd shift front desk person is an absolute nightmare. If you catch them at a time when they are not on their cell phone they are about as helpful as a voice recording at the DMV. I have been staying here for months for work and had an absolutely incredible experience with all of the day staff. That being said night shift not so much.

The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and checked us in quickly. But that's where the good ends and bad begins. Rooms were out dated and had a smell to them. Garbage in hallways and by ice machine (full garbage bag reminded by the ice machine my whole stay-4 days). Never any towels by the pool and would continually ask for some and took forever to get. Other people in our group waited 90 minutes for towels for their room. Our booking said free breakfast but come to find out it's not on the weekends but our booking receipt just says free breakfast. Lobby was dirty. I could go on and on but I'll stop. Will not stay here again.

Went with three friends to attend the state fair and stayed one night. Two of us in two rooms. The other two 's first room a bed had been slept in! Their next room didn 't have the fridge. I have no complaint about the room itself except the TV didn 't work which they did fix and wallpaper was beginning to show it 's age. I slept well and was glad they had pillows that were not flat! The one working elevator can be annoying and my friends had to rat on a group of noise makers in a nearby room....at 4 am! Yes, the hot tub was hot but not working, yet! My overall opinion is basically not impressed. Whether they are short handed or can 't keep help, I don 't know. Breakfast was good! I got the feeling that they want the place to be something bigger and better than it is OR it use to be something bigger and better! It needs a lot of work! One elevator is not a good thing!
