Anjaneya’s World Cafe - Watsonville

Wow! We stayed in the Mary Hunter Dov's Yurt, just five minutes from the center of Mt. Madonna, and decided to check out the café when the temperature was a lovely 45°F. Our time at Mt. Madonna County Park was wonderful, but it’s this café that we’ll miss the most. The drinks are absolutely delicious, and both baristas we encountered made them exceptionally well. The lavender hot chocolate and the rice hot chocolate were outstanding. My partner opted for the Maple Latte, which he enjoyed for three consecutive days! They also offer light snacks to keep you fueled, but it’s really the tasty and creative drinks that bring you back. The atmosphere is fantastic too—overall, a great vibe!

"I give this cafe a solid 5 stars for its location alone. Enjoy a cup of chai while soaking in the beautiful views. The shop owner is very friendly, and while there aren't many restaurants around, the ambiance here is lovely. The soothing sound of the small fountain, accompanied by the Buddha statue right in front of the cafe, adds to the serene atmosphere. It's such a peaceful place! We ordered chai, rose hot chocolate, and samosas. My husband enjoyed the chai, saying it was quite good, while I tried the hot chocolate for the first time topped with rose petals and found it absolutely delicious. The samosas were satisfying as well, and the mint chutney was a delightful addition. We also picked up pineapple and mango coconut protein bars, as well as a bite of milk and dark chocolate.
