Albatross - Wasilla

My wife an I enjoyed dinner and a few drinks at the Albatross. The staff was so friendly and I had what I claim as my now favorite burger in Alaska. I even had to let the kitchen staff know that it was the best. I highly recommend the Inferno Burger to any one that likes it spicy.

We ordered 3 pizzas and they were all great. More cheese than Mooses Tooth, and all the real flavor and quality ingredients. We sat on the porch and the view of the green golf course was beautiful.

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was typically nice for a clubhouse restaurant, but the service was poor. The waitress was only interested in serving the one customer at the bar and neglected our table, the only other customer in the clubhouse. We won't be back, even as great as the food is.

I've always said that golf course restaurants are hidden gems and the Albatross Clubhouse didn't disappoint. If you want to get away from crowds, enjoy great views, and savor delicious food and beers, this place is it. Our server, Chantelle, was also very pleasant.

Always fantastic...the 14 oz Filet is the best I have ever had.
