Lots of broccoli. I've never had beef with black pepper with broccoli before. Yes, everything had broccoli. Except the hot and sour. That had very little of anything solid like bamboo shoots or tofu. Very watery and not spicy. No meat encountered, but it did have egg.
We have been here several times every experience has been excellent. Their food is always hot and they use fresh ingredients. Staff are very friendly and the meals have been reasonably priced. This is our go to Chinese place.
The staff at Super Panda were incredibly friendly, and when there was a mix-up with our order, they resolved it quickly and without any fuss. The food was outstanding. The sweet and sour chicken was light and not greasy, the spring rolls were well-seasoned and flavorful, and the lo mein was tender and delicious. The chicken fried rice was moist and not dried out as it often is at other places. Everything we tasted was fantastic! The portion sizes were generous; we each took home at least half of our meals, which meant great leftovers for the next day. Plus, the prices were very reasonable—our total for two people was only $33. The dining room was clean and nicely decorated, making for an enjoyable evening out. Even as someone who usually finds something to complain about, I couldn't find anything to criticize during our visit. So, if you're looking for Chinese food in Wasaga Beach, skip the other options and head straight to Super Panda!
The vegetable fried rice was decent, though a bit oily. The meat eaters in our group weren't satisfied with their dishes, as they felt the oil tasted old. The fried tofu was a major letdown; it had a noticeable watery flavor, which was quite unappetizing, leading us to discard it. On a positive note, the service was excellent. The owner was friendly, and the staff member who served us was very pleasant. They provided us with plenty of cutlery as well. We also ordered chicken soup noodles, which were just average.
I ordered dinner tonight since our usual restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Honestly, the food is very flavorful, but it ends up being soggy. I recommend steering clear of the chicken fried rice; they boil the chicken instead of frying it. It was also clear they ran out of chicken and simply removed the breading from the sweet and sour chicken. On a positive note, the sweet and sour ribs were good. The customer service was excellent, too! There was a long line due to a difficult customer, but they opened a new register to help speed things up.
