My wife and I needed a break from cooking. I hate fast foods, and eating out, most places we try are just terrible quality, pricing, and taste. I decided to try this place being that it is a small business owner, and they tend to have better service. Food was great. At least today. I will be ordering from here again. I had the double cheese burger, and my wife actually liked their chicken tenders, and she is the pickiest person when it comes to food. Fries are crispy. Our total was $22
Food was delicious! I appreciate the fresh to order!! Worth the wait!!
Great convenient spot right off West Michigan Street and the B&O Haughville Trailhead. Got the Philly with everything on it and it was delicious!! They grill the steak with onions and banana peppers ?Will be back to try the cheeseburgers and catfish. They also have outdoor picnic table seating for warmer days! Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating
Saw a report on this place on CH 13 earlier this summer and have been wanting to give it a try. Did so today. Ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. Came to just under $12. Well worth it!! Vee cooks your order after you order it so you get it fresh off the grill not from under a heat lamp or warming tray. This of course means you will wait a few minutes while your food is freshly prepared. Since so many places use it, when I ordered, I mentioned I am not a fan of seasoning salt and prefer regular salt. Good thing I did cos she does use it but accommodated my request to not. The burger size matched the size of the bun. It was hot as I bit into it. It was perfectly cooked. Not pink. Not dry. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fries were also hot and properly cooked. If you happen to be familiar with another local food joint in Haughville called The Working Man's Friend, they've got nothing on Vee's when it comes to the food. Vee's however is carryout only, not dine in. And the lobby/order area at Vee's could be described as fairly dirty. The parking lot is small and has only one way in and out. It's a bit hard to find as both the sign and the building sit back off of Michigan St. a bit. It is right across from the Chase Bank. Worth the effort to find it in my opinion. On my next visit I'll be having a breakfast sandwich and fried potatoes.
