Great gastro pub with plenty of hand pumped to beers and wines too. Old Victorian pub brought up to date in the most sympathetic of ways. Warm lively and welcoming you'll have a great night here. And don't forget it puts the rugby and other sports on screen. Great venue for all round pleasure. Maintaining its edge, if you're in the locale, this is one not to miss. What can I say again? It is a go to all the time. Excellent.

Miso roasted mushrooms is amazing (vegan) plate: perfect balance and taste. Spectacular the pig in blankets! The service is quick and perfect. Strongly suggested.

Very pleasant atmosphere , set in an extremely nice area , the staff seemed friendly , very comfortable seating ,very nice decor not too modern , made for quite a charming visit , very good for families and groups ,and if your on your own , it's not clicky , the other customers well well dressed and seemed nice , so that makes it quite special , impeccable toilets . Quite a spacious venue , so full marks , I highly recommend it , so with my 205 ,000 Viewer, if 1 per cent visit , that will be a big help after the hideous pandemic .

Great local pub and lovely staff. Great pint of Guiness and good food. Love this place. And so will you!

Had the most amazing time, ordered the ravioli which was exquisite. Decorations were super festive, really set up for the Christmas spirit (lights, snow and the fabulous smell of mulled wine). Staff were attentive, welcoming and kind. Really the perfect pub this time of year whether your out with friends or having a cosy night with your partner. Definitely does not disappoint.
