Far Man In Spr - Walterville

Our family had company from out of town today. We decided to order from Farman. That's usually our go to for chinese food. We ordered 6 number 6 combo meals to be picked up. We picked up our order and soon as we took everything out of the bags we realized we were one order short. We called them and they basically called us liars, argued, and swore they put 6 orders in the bag which they did not. Toward the end of the conversation they reluctantly agreed to give us our 6th meal if we drive all the way back across town to pick it up. Which of course we did I could not believe it. I was shocked after so many years of going there. I even chose to overlook the sloppy way they boxed all the food. There wasn't one box without food hanging out the sides. No one in our family will ever be returning to that restaurant. Make sure you all check your orders before you leave.

The quality of the food has really declined. The last few times our family has eaten here or ordered take out, the quality is just not there. Our fried rice was gummy, the vegetables in our chow mein tasted rotten. Its disappointing, we used to really like this place but we probably won't be coming back anytime soon. As for the staff, they just seem bothered.

My dinner was excellent and very large portions, the service was great and speedy!

I walked in and an Asian woman who I assumed to be the owner gave me a cross stare, What are you doing here. When I first walked in. I am from out of state and so I had never been here before but will not return from such a look at a customer walking in was just unacceptable. I ordered fried rice anyways and it was terrible.

This place was very clean. Some of the best Chinese food we've had in a long time!
