Lovely restaurant. Reminds me of the homes in uptown New Orleans. Nice pretty waitresses. Interesting southern food. The soul rolls where bland but the black beans were too spicy. Excellent collard greens. Go for the atmosphere. Definitely a place to bring something that you want to talk to. Quiet but interesting art and architecture.

Do you ever walk into a new restaurant and know immediately you will come back? That's how Screen Door Kitchen was for me, before I even ordered. And I wasn't disappointed, and I will go back. The mushroom prosciutto linguini was perfection, and I can't stand mushrooms. Next up to try is the herbed chicken and waffles. 100% worth the hour+ drive.

Best food ever!! We live in Indiana have relatives that live in this area. When we come down to visit them we always stop by here to eat!!

Screen door is one of the best local place around. Everything I have tried I really enjoyed. It's a great place to take young and old because they have food that really could fit any generation.
