Papa Ron's Pizza Italian Steakhouse

Visiting the area for a couple days and landed here for lunch. It was so good we went back for takeout for supper! Lunch today for us was lasagna and chicken penne. Supper was the Italian sub with buffalo potatoes and a cheeseburger with fries. Will absolutely be back next time we are anywhere close by!!!

Might have chosen the wrong time to make our first visit, but service was SUPER SLOW. When we got our food it was warm. The server was wonderful, but didn't offer anything but apologies. We may try it again one day.

After caving around, the kids wanted a pizza so we found this really cool spot. It appears many locals come here for an early dinner. I failed at taking photos of all the dishes we ordered. But. We ordered a meaty calzone, Philly cheese sandwich, chicken tenders meal, medium pepperoni pizza, cup of crab corn soup, and a Greek salad with salmon. The 4 year old ate over half the pizza herself! Our server was so sweet and attentive. Restaurant was clean, warm and pleasant. The menu is huge. So many items. I'm not sure why they offer so much. Bread was warm and pretty good. Salad was fine. We had pasta dishes and I can't say I was super impressed. My dish was room temperature, not hot. Sauce tasted like it comes from a jar. And nothing was very seasoned. It was just bland. Good pizza, great desert great staff with a PHENOMENAL piano player!! The dining area needs to be reworked for better flow because the beer counter is stuffed in a very congested corner. I will go back and try different foods!!
